I desire to Return to Pamplona!

Yes! I plan a return to Pamplona.
Why a return? Cause I wanna.
To hell with the danger.
It's not a foul stranger.
Besides, I'm a very fast runner.
I know that the bulls there are fierce.
But hey? There's no gain if no tears!
Besides, what are horns
But a danger to scorn?
If they get much to close I'll shift gears.
Hey! Remember the women astounded
As the bulls had me almost surrounded?
How I put on the brakes
And just for their sakes
I dared to remain firmly grounded?
How amidst their wild screaming and shrieks,
As if some supernatural freak,
I burst through the ranks
as they prayed and gave thanks
With a streaming of tears on their cheeks?
Oh how loudly they cheered as I ran
Down cobblestoned streets-total man!
Closely followed by beasts
Not afraid in the least!
Until horn met the seat of my pants.
All the rest, as you know, is a blur
As I merged into part of the herd
Swift stabbing of horns.
Crowd faces forlorn.
And the stench of a bovine's foul turd.
And the blueness of sky mixed with red,
and a battering blasts on my head,
And your horrified look
as the savage beast shook
And probably left me for dead
But Pamplona? I'll soon meet you there!
As soon as I rise from this chair
to which I am tethered
like tar unto feathers
until all the damage's repaired.
Ole!
For those who want to give it a try:
Pamplona Bullrun 2020
July the 7th through the 14th 2020, 8am sharp. 6 bulls and 4 oxen are released on the cobbled streets of the old town of Pamplona. 825 metres along Calle de Santo Domingo, Plaza Consistorial, Calle Mercaderes, Calle Estafeta, and finally the Plaza de Toros, the Arena. Bulls that are set free from their corral run. And they run faster than any of the 3,000 humans who want to be close to them, in their daily adrenaline overdose. Some people think it’s a good idea to just stand on the street to have a look and get some thrills, like “if I’m not running I’m safe”.
It’s not exactly like that. There are simply too many people in the streets, and the bulls get even less predictable than usual. Then the crowd itself: most injuries in the Run in Pamplona are due to piling up, to being trampled by other humans. The only way to watch in safety, if not on TV, is from a balcony. There are no other positions, no grandstands or reserved seats otherwise.
