Could we have been a snail?
There seems to be an assumption that persons are predestined to be exactly whom they are physically because there is something invisible and incomprehensible apart from the genetic material, that determines who they are physically.
Well, what is being missed is that the material contained in the human ovum and spermatozoa, is not identical to that of other couples. Also, that such material is essential in assigning us our membership among living things.
For example, it determines whether the conception is of a reptile, an insect, a bird a mammal and which species within those groups emerges.
So we could never have become any of these other creatures, unless our progenitors were any of those creatures. Similarly, neither could we have been born racially an East Asian unless the genetic material involved came from two racial East Asians or could be traced to East Asian ancestors.
Yes, of course there are powerful cultural socialization forces which indelibly imprint themselves and gradually molds human personalities. However, socialization alone will never transform us physically contrary to what was genetically determined at the moment of conception.

Radrook Admin: Six guests in 24 hours down from 5000 just a week ago? That is really impressive tweaking.

Radrook Admin: Amazing how the number of guests rose suddenly to 5000 and then has been gradually and steadily going down. Pretty soon I will be getting maybe 100 guests if I am lucky. All of them bots, of course.
