What kind of Equal Rights do Women Seek?
There is a very popular misconception that women who are seeking women's rights are demanding to be treated as if they were men during any argument that they might be having with a male. For that reason, there are males who plow into them full-force as if they were confronting a male, and inflict severe unnecessary physical damage.
But are these dudes justified? Is that really what women are seeking when they speak of having equal rights? To have their physical weaknesses ignored and to be perceived as if they were actually musclebound males posing a deadly threat?
Well, as it turns out it isn't. What women are seeking are that their human rights be respected on an equal footing with male human rights. For example, at one time, women were not allowed to vote. So they initiated the women's suffrage movement until that human right was recognized.
At one time women were being paid lesser wages for doing their exact same job that a male was doing. All based on gender. That also was a human right that they sought and fought for and finally attained.
Then there was once the right of a husband to beat his wife whenever he deemed it necessary as discipline.
Or the right to force a wife to have sex even though she was vehemently refusing for whatever her reasons might have to been.
The right not to become pregnant just because the husband, or any other male in a position of authority, such as a king, demanded it.
The right not to be considered as mere booty or spoils of war by conquering armies during times of war as occurred when the Soviet's invaded Berlin, or during the Japanese invasion of the Chinese city of Nanking.
The right to refuse female circumcision as is practiced in some African countries.
So no, women are not seeking the right to be beaten to a pulp when arguing with men. They are asking men to view then on the same level as another man when they are arguing. Interpreting the struggle for female human rights in that way is based on inexcusable ignorance and perhaps on an irresistible urge to attack women based on a fundamental dislike for females, or else because of having been brought up in a household where the mother was constantly abused.

WOMEN’S RIGHTS

Please note that as a Christian I do not believe that a woman has the right to kill the human life in her womb as if it were a mere appendage. The Bible is clear that whatever life is in the womb and dies constitutes a human life that has been lost. that is why it says the following:
Ex 21:22
22. If men who are fighting strike a pregnant woman and her child is born prematurely, but there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband demands and as the court allows. 23. But if a serious injury results, then you must require a life for a life—…
