American attitude towards government tax usage enigma. Why do Americans complain so much whenever their tax money is used to help other Americans but are completely silent when the government gives away their tax money, to the tune of Billions per year, to other countries that can easily wing it on their own? The same applies to providing funding to NASA. The government agonizes over helping NASA by providing the funds necessary for space exploration. NASA has to skimp, cancel missions, use inferior materials and generally lower its sites because it is constantly struggling to make ends meet. Yet, the government doesn't seem to feel so sensitive about dishing out money when it concerns foreign aid. WEIRD! Example:Foreign aid to Israel 3 billion per year 30 billion in ten years 60 billion in 20 Years 120 billion in 40 years 240 billion in 80 years borgenproject.org/top-10-recipients-of-u-s-foreign-aid/ Ever ask how much good could have done for American citizens who provided the government with it via income, property, sales and other taxes?
