List of Writing Prompts
What are writing prompts, and what is their value? Well, a writing-prompt is a subject that is presented as the theme for a possible composition, such as a poem, short story or novel. They can be of any subject, and are very helpful in helping writers to overcome what is referred to as a writer's block. You know, those seemingly unavoidable times when we writers just can't seem to come up with anything new to write about no matter how hard we try.
Well, writing-prompts are very effective in getting a writer's creative juices flowing again. I personally have benefited immensely from such prompts. In fact, some of my best stories that receive high accolades on writing websites, were inspired by them.
