Hitler's Mistakes
Strange how a person can become a victim of his own grandiose delusion concerning himself. Even after all the military disasters that were clearly his fault due to bad judgment, such as, permitting the British to escape at Dunkirk, diverting essential troops from Army Group Center to Leningrad, diverting his planes away from Radar stations to strike British cities, dividing and weakening his Sixth Army at Stalingrad, he was still denying responsibility for the disasters of his own making while blaming others.
But the most poignant example of his utter insanity was demonstrated by his declaration of war on the United States at a stage when Germany was constantly losing ground to the Soviet Union.
