Spaniard skin color and height.
This fellow on the YouTube comment section just write that Spaniards are five-feet three and five foot five for men. That is totally wrong.
The average Spanish’ men height is 5’9 (176) whereas the average Spanish women height is 5’5. Moreover, a male height of 6’1 (185cm) and taller is considered tall and a height of 5’7 is considered tall in women. On the other hand a height of Men 5’7 (171cm) and shorter is considered short whereas, women heighted 5’3 or shorter are considered short.
Also, there is a very persistent misconception bout Spaniards concerning their physical appearance. They are all believed to be of dark complexion. This is not so. In Spain, skin complexion varies with geography. The Spanish people of Galicia, Catalonia, and the Basque regions of northern Spain are predominantly people of light complexion. Whereas those in the southern areas, such as Andalucía, tend to be darker. The ones you see dancing Flamenco who are very dark are gypsies.
