Europeans are Morally Superior? Really?
Just recently some news announcers insinuated that what is happening in Ukraine right now with fleeing residents seems out of kilter because it is more to be expected from Third World countries than the civilized Europe. Well, these statements have understandably aroused a response since they appear to be racist. Furthermore, and more significantly, they are also unjustifiable since Europeans are in no moral position to be pointing self-righteous accusatory fingers at others in respect to bloodshed and the displacement of civilian populations via military assaults. Below are just a few examples of the hypocrisy involved.
Considering how Europeans slaughtered one another during those two world wars, I don't detect anything inherently civilized in the residents of that continent. Also, the horrendously bloody carnage of the USA Civil War was primarily produced by the supposedly civilized people of European descent.

As many as 27 million Soviets lost their lives, with as many as 11.4 million military deaths joined by up to 10 million civilian deaths due to military activity and an additional 8 million to 9 million deaths due to famine and disease.
Those totals do not include the more than 14 million Soviet soldiers who were wounded during the war. As for the savagery of bombing civilians, that was done by European nations to each other and to non- European nations. The fire-bombings of Tokyo residential areas and the two atomic bombs dropped on civilians Hiroshima and Nagasaki are prime examples. The incendiary bombing of the German city of Dresden's residential areas, in order to impress the Russians, is another.
Those were war crimes as well, and provide no evidence that Europeans are morally superior to anyone else. In fact, since Europeans have embroiled the world in two World Wars, and are now seriously threatening the very existence of life on Earth, it could be argued that they are the opposite.
