How Starship will Revolutionize Space Travel
Starship will ultimately be able to lift 150 tons into orbit. That's equivalent to the weight of 15 ten-ton elephants. Such an ability to launch a heavy tonnage into space will greatly facilitate Mars colonization by delivering equipment such as machines, habitats and food at the Martian landing site years before humans embark on their journey.
All such amenities could be deployed at the Martian landing site and would make the task of the physically and psychologically exhausted astronauts far easier. But there is far more. The video also describes the potential improvements in astronomy that the starship will make possible. The launching of far larger telescopes into orbit is just one of the many other possibilities.
SpaceX's Starship rocket is nearing first orbital tests. This Super Heavy launch vehicle promises to lift enormous masses into space, and do so at far cheaper costs than the competitors. What could these capabilities do for astronomy though? Join us today as we explore the potential transformative power of Starship for astronomy.

Radrook Admin: Yes, sooner or later this entire website will disappear with everything posted on it for lack of finding someone to take over when I croak. But it won't be because you folks are refusing to respond. That I can guarantee.
