Latin American Women Marriage Preferences in the USA
There is this constant claim on the Internet that the vast majority of Latinas are only attracted to African American men. So I researched the subject to see just how accurate that claim was and found that the statistics do not support that idea. Instead, the statistics indicate that Latinas are far more interested in Anglo American men since most of the marriages involving Latinas and non Latinos, is between Anglo American and Latina females, and definitely not between Latinas and African American men.
Statistics indicate otherwise.
• In 2004, 37% of Hispanic marriages were to a non-Hispanic individual. The number of inter-ethnic marriages among Hispanics increased from 891,000 in 1980 to 2,076,000 in 2004. The majority of inter-ethnic marriages are between Hispanics and Whites.
Therefore, because this Latina-black-preference-claim lacks statistical support, the constant claims must be considered merely the unsubstantiated personal opinions of the ones involved motivated merely by a pathological need to annoy.
