Spaniards are all not the Same Racially nor Culturally

 It is truly amazing how many persons use the youtube discussion section in order to propagate their own erroneous ideas.  No, they do not research the subject even though research is merely a click away.  If indeed they had researched, then their idiocies would not be so prominently on display for all to see. Yet there they are posturing as undeniably true. The latest idiocy is that all Spaniards share the same genetic lineages. First of all, being a Spaniard has to do with nationality, not race.

     The simple truth is that all Spaniards don't share the same racial heritage. Some are gypsies which originated in India and who are famous for  playing and dancing Flamenco. Others are Basques who are considered completely separate people from other Spaniards and don't  even speak Spanish. Others are from Catalonia, which has a people who also don't speak Spanish, but something more akin to French.

     Furthermore, the Northern religions of Spain were never conquered by Muslims. These regions offered a haven from the invaders and were populated by the Goths, Germanic Christians who fled there and from which the reconquest originated.  Additionally, after the Reconquest, or Reconquista, most Muslims and Jews were forced to leave and to go back to Africa. So you are wrong.

   So Spaniards differ from region to region and not all have identical cultural nor genetic heritage.
