The absurdity of a human Claiming Omniscience
Nine years ago, I was debating with atheists and agnostics at the Randi website, and asked if they felt they were omniscient since they were claiming that God does not exist in all possible realms of reality. Today, ten years later, I google Randi under Radrook and found this statement on this website:
What do you mean when you say “god does (or does not) exist”?

This question came to my mind during a recent troll thread on the JREF forums, I mean the thread by Radrook where he claims that Atheists are claiming omniscience. I’ve never met anybody in my life who claimed omniscience (either theist, deist, atheist, or agnostic; ok duh on that last one), so I’m curious if anybody is THAT certain, and what people mean when they say “i believe” or “i don’t believe”…

First, my thread was never tagged that way by moderators who allowed it to run its full course. Was my question irrelevant at least? No, the question was a very legitimate one that was asked because atheists there at Randi, were indeed claiming 100% certainty of the absence of a creator in all possible realms of reality. Now, please consider what such a claim involves.
It involves:
1 Claiming cerainty that a creator doesn't exist in an infinite universe of which we only can observe a minute fraction because in comparision to the universe we cannot detect, the observable part is like a golf-ball in comparison with the planet Pluto.
3. It involves claiming that God does not exist in all possible dimensions in our universe, one of which the Bible might be referring to as heaven.
4. It involves claiming absolute certainty that God does not exist on all planets and all dimensions in the multiple universe concept where our universe is merely one out of an infinite number.
5. It involves claiming certainty that God doesn't exist even if our reality is one of an endless number of multiple or alternate realities where histories divege into endless ramifications.
6. It involves claiming to know what was and was not present before our Big Bang caused our universe to appear.
Based on those declarations of certainty that God exists nowhere, I simply asked whether they were claimng omniscience, since only omniscienc can grant a person such absolute certainty.
The evidence they claim to have is therefore
1. Insufficient because they have no access to rthe unnobservable parts of reality.
2. Hasty because they have no basis in making that claim since conditions before the Big Bang, and in the unobservable universe, are unknown
So what they are claiming as certainty are merely their strong opinions. My question was meant to get them to think rationally and not to troll.
BTW
Ironically, very often these same people will claim that Micky the Mouse and Donald the Duck must exist somewhere if our univers is infinite.
