Compendium of Propulsion Systems

     The way we make a rocket ship move at present is mostly via chemical fuel. The problem with chemical fuel propulsion is that it constitutes most of the space and weight of the ship and it becomes a hassle just getting it off the ground and into orbit.  Because of this, other means of propulsion, such as  Laser, anti matter, solar sails, Nuclear Fusion, Nuclear Fission,  have been recommended.
