Aliens the Atheist vs the Christian View
Are we alone in the universe? If so why? If not, then how do the extraterrestrials look like? Do they resemble us? Do they resemble some animal lifeform on Earth such as insects, molusks reptiles mannals, birds, fish? Might they be hostile and pose a mortal danger to our existence? These are questions which atheists and Christians view from two entirely different perpectives.
Physuical Appearance an Atheist Perspective
You see, from the atheistic viewpoint, extraterrestrial physical appearance is totally dependent on the process of evolution. So atheists imagine that intelligent aliens are merely the product of a numberless series of adaptations to the environment along with favorable mutations which lead to the survival of the fittest.
Because of this, atheists imagine that intelligent aliens might resemble anything depending upon the environment in which they evolved. One sci-fi story even used that assumption to describe electricity as being an intelligent lifeform seeking vengeance on mankind for the enslavement of their brethren in powering their machines. Blobs of protoplasm have also been hypothesized as viable intelligent lifeforms as depicted in one Star Trek episode.
In short, from an atheistic standpoint, there is absolutely no limit to the diversity of forms that intelligent life might assume. Atheists also confidently assume that no alien intelligent species would resemble mankind because of the supposedly different evolutionary processes that led to them.
So from their standpoint, the lifeform commonly referred to as humanoid would either be extremely rare or else totally nonexistent as one atheist recently stated on a youtube video about this subject.
Christian Perspective
In contrast, alien life, from a Christian viewpoint, doesn't depend on such a mindless and therefore planless process. Instead, it is totally dependent on the way in which the Creator might choose to design them. Since God chose to infuse humans with qualities that qualify humans as his children, then it is tempting to assume that very likely God would prefer to choose variations of the same physical scheme to create other material creatures who share his attributes. On the other hand, God might not have any physical preferences. So the premise is entirely hypothetical.

This is a matter that is constantly discussed and debated both among atheist scentist and arthest non scientists. Some have described both possibilities as being equally terrifying. Of course this is understanbdable since within an atheistic unsupervised universe all kinds of horrible futures might be in store for any planet or life on it and one of them they imagine to be the possibility of hostille alien invasion of Earth and the subjugaton of its popualtion to serve as slaves or else a food source for the invaders. Te Twilight Zone Epiosiode To Serve Man" is basre on thelatter fear. Being alone brings with it the fear that we are totally on our own and cannot depend on any other kindred lifeform for help.

Christians don't share that pessimistic view. Christians believe in extraterrestrial lifeforms of spirit nature. These are described in the Bible as angels who live in heaven with God. They also believe that God assures the survival of mankind and the Earth and would never create that kind of hostile extraterrestrial danger to its inhabitants. . So the question of whether we are alone in the universe or not is not a Christian concern or issue. Neither do Christians fear a future where the Sum will run out of fuel, expand and swallow the Earth.
