What more needs to be seen?
Just recently a man was shown lying on the ground face-first with a police officer's knee on his neck. The man kept telling the police officer that he couldn't breathe but the so-called police officer, kept the knee firmly on his neck until the man died.
This part of the video, that lasted a full six minutes, was shown to certain people. Amazingly, some said that before they could decide on an opinion, they needed to see the entire video. My question is, "What more do they need to see in order to conclude that the force being applied was excessive and that this man was being murdered?
After all, the man was helpless. If he had been a threat, he obviously wasn't any longer since he was pinned face-down. If he needed further restraint, such as handcuffing, assuming he had not already been handcuffed, then there was another officer there to lend a hand. Furthermore, when someone tells us that we are depriving him of oxygen, it means that we are killing him. That's why there is a tap-out rule in the MMA. Otherwise death will ensue. So why continue to apply pressure of that kind unless the intent is on killing the person?
One thing that I am sure of is this. Had these supposedly undecided people had a son being treated that way, they would not need to see any further video to conclude that their son was being murdered. So why then do they brazenly declare that they NEED to see the rest? What could the rest of that video possibly show that would make that kind of behavior justified?
