You are right! The rhythm is chunky. I thought I was writing a sonnet in iambic pentameter but had another meter, heptameter, going and that misconception caused that effect. Long time I had composed ever since Big Brother booted me from YW. Thanks for the review. Much appreciate your feedback.
BTW Espalda means back in Spanish.
Mi espalda!= My back.

I loved the chunky Iamb Hepty rythm, what a gorgeous accidental invention-- especially since the main character is deformed! Espalda is a funny word! Not as much as Quasimodo tho! Yes I tend to agree. I tried to write it in iambic pentameter as posted above and it loses something. Espada = sword Justy one letter changes the whole meaning!
