The logic is seriously flawed. Assuming that similarity of structure means common ancestry is a conclusion based on belief of evolution. Prior to the evolution theory it was assumed that a common creator chose to make them similar. So the conclusion is based on the assumption that the process happened. Once that assumption is accepted as undeniable fact, then, of course, everything studied will be forced into the evolutionary mold. Why are there similarities? Because we live on the same planet and were designed to survive on the same planet. Furthermore, the meticulous physical organization on a cellular basis of such organisms indicates planning based on foresight not mindlessness. So that alone disqua lifies the idea as nonsense. That a creator chose to make mammals that would dwell in the oceans only means that he chose to make mammals designed to live in the oceans. It doesn't mean that whales must have descended from some land animals that slowly crawled away from lands and had their noses migrate to the top of their heads while their limbs turned to flukes and fins. So all the so-called evidence put forth as irrefutable is merely is nothing more than the desperate imagination of atheists who suffer from theophobia which force them to reach that ludicrous conclusion because reaching the other conclusion causes them severe psychological distress.
