Ever notice how some persons on YouTube who are speaking on controversial issues involving maybe politics, race, or religion, adopt a nervous machinegun-like way of speaking? One sentence follows the other as if it were emerging from some pre-programed machine.
Explanations of complex issues are treated in the exactly way. Pauses? seem to be consider anathema to be avoided at all costs. It's as if the speaker believed that pausing would convey a insufficient confidence, so delivering these supposedly profound things in a hyper velocity way was essential.
