Will a Latino USA Citizen ever be USA President?
No, I consider that a total impossibility. Which of course makes a reader wonder about why. What could have ever led me to such drastic conclusion that involves such a restriction on a certain minority group in the vaunted land of opportunity?
Well, the answer is actually very simple, in order to become president in the USA, a person need the support of voters in all the major electoral states. Now, when we examine the populations of these states, Latinos are always minority. So a preponderance of their numbers cannot be depended on in order to guarantee a landslide vote.
Second, any Latino candidate aspiring to the presidency would need the support of both the Anglo and the African American communities just as Obama did. And there is the very crucial crux of the matter. The fly festering in the ointment. The proverbial wrench thrown into the delicate machinery that very effectively brings it grinding ignominiously to an inglorious halt.
You see, the concept of a USA Latino Citizen ever becoming a president is extremely unpopular both among Anglo and among African Americans. Now, the question is why do I reach that conclusion? Well, the answer to that question is simple.
Unfortunately, for Latinos who might be aspiring to the USA presidency, African Americans cannot be depended on to lend their predominant support. Why? Simple, because African Americans in general consider Latino USA Americans a competitive group that very significantly deprive them of Federal government benefits that belong to them. Why do I reach such a drastic conclusion. Well, because they are forever griping about it.
In short, they view Latino political success as very detrimental to their community's social well being. So voting for a Latino candidate for president would be considered a cutting their own throats.
Here is are examples of the competition between these two groups.

As for white support for a Latino presidential candidate? That is equally an impossibility since the number of racist Anglo Americans who are fanatically against the Latinos being in the USA is very high.
That is why, they, along with African Americans are100% in support of the construction of the border Wall suggested by Trump.
Subsequently, it is unrealistic and plain silly to imagine these two racist groups suddenly setting their traditionally intense anti Latino prejudices aside, in order to elect a Latino candidate as President who will increase their worries about the Latino presence in the USA. In fact, it is far more likely that the moon will be found to be made out of cheese than for this deeply ingrained resentment against the Latino presence in the USA to suddenly vanish and allow for both Anglo and African American to support a Latino candidate.
To make matters even worse, the Latino community itself is severely culturally and racially fragmented. There is animosity of nationalities one against the other. They do no have a common racial, nor ethnic, nor cultural identify. This makes consistency of their voting choices highly unreliable as opposed to the Afro Americans who don't have this internal divisiveness as a hindrance. In short, Latinos in the USA don't need non-Latinos to cut their necks, they will gladly do it themselves.

A 2012 Pew survey found that just 29 percent of Hispanics in the U.S. believe they share a common culture with one another. When Hispanics were asked to describe how they identify themselves in a separate study, 54 percent used the name of their country of origin. Only 20 percent identified themselves first as Hispanic or Latino.
