Eggs in diets
Before considering starting this diet, it is good to view the two following videos in order to set your mind at ease in reference to your egg-yolk cholesteral worries.
I was a greatly surprised when at the title of those videos since for most of my life I had come to consider eggs a threat to my health due the the cholesterol-filled egg yolk and warnings I had read. Yet, after I finished viewing them, I am thinking about giving the diet a try. You see, the cholesterol in eggs is considered good cholesterol and the nutritional value of eggs is truly inmpressive since it contains vitamins and minerals such as:
Iron
Vitamin B12
Vitamin A, E, and D
Folate
Selenium
It also includes nutrients lutein and zeaxanthin which are healthy for the eyes.
And they also contain choline, which is helpful for the brain and nervous system.
The diet also vegetables and meat such as fish, and green tea. One reason that I have confidence in this egg diet is because of the times that I have purposfully substituted eggs for meat protein and have experienced a very quick reduction in weight.
So as soon as I saw these videos I remembered how easily I was maintaing a lower weight when eating eggs at least once a day for either lunch or dinner. Mostly five egg whites with one yoke made into an omelet.
