It is currently under intense observation.
Ever notice how after meticulously explaining the impeding dangers from global warming the narrators of such documentaries they keep assuring us that it is all currently under intense observation? As if that should reassure us that everything will turn out OK?
Do these people really believe that just because an impending disaster is under intense human observation, it will become less likely to happen or will be significantly delayed? If not, then why the constant reassurance to let us know that it is under intense observation.
After all a disaster doesn't give a rat's fat ass whether we observe it or not. Do hurricanes care whether we are observing them from orbit? Seems to me that they will plow right through populated areas regardless of how many people are observing it or how intensely. It simply goes uncaringly about its merciless destructive business.
The same with the rising ocean waters. Will measuring the ocean's rise mean anything when the ocean finally swamps our cities? Of course not. Yet they keep reassuring us that these things are under intense observation? I mean. OK. That is appreciated. But what the hell is being done about it at an international level? How much is being done. How and to what extent are the dangers being ignored and how much time left do we have before coastal cities need to start evacuating its citizens?
Why not honestly inform us about these things instead of stupidly assuring us that they have this ongoing and impending garbage under intense observation?
Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
