As a consequence, I am truly amazed at people who so calmly manage to make the 3,000 foot vertical climb, while the only thing that separates them from falling sideways is merely a little chain.
As much as I would like to visit that fascinating location personally some day, my extreme fear of heights prevents me from even contemplating it. In fact, I would not be even able to reach a third of the way up. Even climbing a ladder that was leaning against the side of a two-story building once as I was hired to do some roofing work, had me freezing in fear half-way up.
