Ingenuous and Disingenuous

   
      Ever been conversing or writing and just can't seem to find the right word to express yourself?   Or else have heard  or have read a word and either have absolutely  no idea what it means or else aren't sure? Sure, you have encountered it numerous times before, but have never really known the nuances of its meanings.  Well, this section is created in order to reduce the number of those pesky words whose meaning has perhaps evaded your comprehension for so long. 

   Let's start with the words ingenuous and disingenuous. Now, I had heard these words used numerous times,  yet, only had a nebulous idea of what they could mean, and for some reason never made an effort to make sure. In short, I could not use them with the certainty of precision. So, of course, I never use them at all. 

   Now, just recently, I heard a politician on YouTube brandished them confidently in reference to the present crisis involving Russia's invasion of Ukraine.  The commentator referred to a key figure as being ingenuous.
