What is Hail?

     Boy! Those are like rocks falling from the sky at 175 mph. The reason for exceeding the falling speed on 120 mph seems to be that they can be driven by strong lateral or downward winds.  One of those to the head, and it's goodnight muchachos.  Just look at the way they easily crash right through the car windshields. I once saw this pro wrestler who resembled  behemoth  banging on a windshield with his fist  to prove how strong he was, and he only managed to injure his hand.  I guess if you can find shelter before getting brained by Mother nature in that way you might be OK. But out in a treeless pasture with nothing but grass for miles around?  Not a good situation.
