Escape of God's Death Penalty for Sin via Technology?
There are those who foresee the possibility of a future where mankind might gain immortality via technological advancements. In fact there are films such as the film Jupiter Ascending, that shows certain human-like creatures achieving such an immortality via technological means.
Of course such a reality would require that God's condemnation for sin be successfully evaded and that the Judge of the universe be proven incapable of enforcing his judicial verdict. In short, it indirectly agrees that the accusation that Satan made against God in Eden that God was lying because Adam and Eve would NOT DIE was true. That if his verdict is circumvented or nullified via technology, then it proves God a liar.
But is this scenario feasible? Is it indeed a possibility that mankind can become technologically sophisticated enough to circumvent God's Edenic verdict as humans here on Earth? Well, had the verdict been announced by some extraterrestrial creature, perhaps it could be evaded. After all, mankind might eventually
become powerful enough to oppose such genetic tampering and reverse the effects. However, it isn't a mere extraterrestrial creature that we are dealing with. It is God almighty, the creator of the universe who has passed judgement and no power in this universe can hold back his hand.

Daniel 4:35
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say to him, What do you?

So if indeed man escapes death-we know that it can only be via the Ransom Sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and it will never be by any technological means at mankind's disposal. We know that God will see to it that mankind fails in that endeavor and there is absolutely no other god who can help mankind avoid God's decree-including Satan.
Genesis 2:17 (NASB)
17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”
Deuteronomy 32:39
See now that I am He; there is no God besides Me. I bring death and I give life; I wound and I heal, and there is no one who can deliver from My hand.
Romans 6:23 NIV
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So as Christians we will try to avoid writing anything that might cast doubt on either God's power or his truthfulness.
